Itinerary
Day 01: (Arrive Jim Corbett National Park) - So you're driving from Delhi to Ramnagar - it's 260 km, takes about 6 hours. Try reaching by noon if possible. Check into your resort, have lunch, chill out for some time. Resort's got decent facilities. Bring swimming stuff if you want. Evening time, go sit by Kosi River - nice and quiet spot. Dinner's good here, they serve it outside under stars. Nights get cool, sleep well.
Day 02: (Enjoy Elephant Ride & Forest Exploration) - Early morning elephant safari. Elephants go through grass areas and thick jungle parts. It's different from jeep - elephants can go where jeeps can't. Come back, have breakfast. Then jeep takes you to lake area. Crocodiles there - big ones just lying in sun. Some have long thin mouths (gharials). Afternoon - go to Jhirnajhali area, climb watchtower. Main jeep safari happens near core zone. Tigers hang around there. Carry camera. You might see tigers sleeping in grass or under bushes. Sometimes they hunt, sometimes just play around - depends on luck. Evening back to resort, they show wildlife photos/videos. Dinner, sleep.
Day 03: (Tiger tracking day) - Breakfast done, go to different park areas for tiger tracking. Other animals too - deer everywhere, wild pigs near water, bears sometimes (sloth bears, black bears), leopards if lucky. Birds - lots of them. Kingfishers near water, big eagles flying, small colorful birds in trees. Back to resort, dinner, sleep.
Day 04: (Departure) - Breakfast, pack bags, check out, drive back home. Good memories to take along.
